Under the Hood

Many people feel overwhelmed when they peek under the hood: I know I did when I got my first car.

Most of the time it's OK to keep it closed and let the car do its thing— but knowing what's going on can save you money, and a hefty tow bill. This two hour class will leave you feeling confident and comfortable around your car. 

What we cover:

• How to pop the hood

• What and where everything is

• What ALL the fluids do

• How to check all those fluids

• How to inspect your battery, air filter, belts and more

• What all the dash lights mean, and what to do when they come on
  

At the beginning of the class we will print a picture of what’s under your hood, so you can find and label everything yourself. Then, I'll laminate that diagram on site for you to keep. It's everything your mechanic wants you to know about your car in a simple, hands-on format.
